Bulgin Industrial Estate Acquisition

September 2008

April saw completion of the acquisition of the former Bulgin Industrial Estate in Barking for private clients of sbh Page & Read.

This 2.5 acre site is intended to be developed to provide up to 65,000 sq ft of new commercial space, which will undoubtedly attract occupiers looking to benefit from the 300’ frontage to East London’s busiest arterial road.

Only a quarter of a mile from the junction with the A406 / A13 Beckton roundabout, this is one of the most high profile sites acquired in the area over recent years.  Interest has already been received from a major motor manufacturer for a new showroom facility.

sbh Page & Read were able to negotiate an off market deal for their client and have been retained to advise on the subsequent development.

Planning discussions will commence in the near future.  It is anticipated the new development will be completed late 2009.
